Weekend trip: Ras Al Khaimah

Whenever you would like to escape busy Dubai, go to hidden gem 'Ras Al Khaimah'. This Emirate (adjacent to beautiful Oman) is only 1 hour away by car and has four different landscapes: mountains, coastal beaches, mangroves and the desert. Sounds good right!?

The Emirate is built in the 18th century has international and local cuisine, resorts and desert & mountain views. And the best thing about this place is that it isn't very touristic yet. It's a place to go to with your family our lover because there are activities for everybody. I always love to relax at the beach but here you can also enjoy the nature, golf courses and resorts. It was so fascinating to see the desert during the roadtrip from Dubai. We saw camels in their natural habitat in the Al Wadi Desert. We stayed in one of the prettiest hotels I have ever seen: Waldorf Astoria RAK. It's the perfect resort to recharge after a busy period.
