When in Prague, it is easy to plan weekend trips to cities closeby like Vienna or Berlin. You can either rent a car or go by train (more sustainable and breathtaking views).

If you would like to try something different and visit a city that's not that known/popular in Eastern Europe, go to Bratislava: a hidden gem. It is only 3 hours by car and 4 hours by train. This Slovakian city has less tourists, a beautiful old town and is cheap (with euro as currency which makes travelling here even easier)!
The city center is not that big, so I would recommend to go a weekend only. If you travel by car, you can stop in Brno (second biggest city in the Czech Republic) for a lunch break.
