Whenever you are going to Barcelona, visiting the district Barceloneta is a must. The typical Spanish streets are colourful and cosy.

Our house is located next to the beach, which makes sure we can cycle to work via the boulevard with a beautiful view.
There are many fish restaurants in this area, as well as small supermarkets. Tip: if you want to visit a cafe with less touristic places, go into the side streets. The Mercat Barceloneta is the fresh market where all locals do their groceries and no one speaks English, perfect to practice your Spanish!
